 What is Shiaqga?

Shiaqga is the name of the mushroom we use in all of our products.

Typically most people have heard of the famous Reishis, Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, Cordyceps, Turkey Tail, and Chaga, however this is only six of the 10,000 types of mushrooms known species, yet mycologist believe that 10,000 is only 4% of how many actually exist!

Mycology is an extremely exciting field and we are excited to tell you more about the one we use in all of our products.

Shiaqga is a mushroom that has traditionally been a part of the Native American Medicine culture for thousands of years. The Niimíipuu people of the Columbia Plateau region referred to the mushroom as “Shiaqga“, meaning, “giver of life“. The Medicine Men and Women who have continued to honor the sacred mushroom’s traditional use have recently chosen to share Shiaqga with the public, wanting everyone to receive the mushroom’s incredible therapeutic benefits.

These communities carefully harvest the sacred mushrooms, always considering the integrity and sustainability of the harvest area, then carefully clean them, and send them directly to our manufacturer. From there, the mushroom is brewed into a concentrated tea, extracted with ultimate care and patience to ensure maximum potency for fullest therapeutic value. We have been producing this product for the past ten years, receiving gratitude from consistent customers, astounded doctors, relieved parents, and ecstatic pet-owners.

It is our pleasure to introduce the world to Shiaqga and give others the brilliance of this incredible mushroom.

What is the best way to take the product?

The suggested use is 1-4ml per day (about as full as you can get your dropper to be).

Some clients prefer to take the daily dosage first thing in the morning, while other clients prefer to take space the daily dosage out throughout the day. This is up to you and your preference.

The extract can be taken direct sublingual or mixed in water. For chronic conditions, you can increase the daily dosage to 6 ml per day.

It is best to consult with your physician and see if our products are right for you.

We always recommend for customers to eat a clean, plant-based diet while taking our products to see faster results. A diet rich with fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and fresh water will be crucial to helping boost your immune system and finding a faster recovery. It is best to eliminate processed foods, meat, sugar, dairy, alcohol, and bread from the daily diet.

I am allergic to mushrooms, is it safe for me to take this?

Yes. Shiaqga is a formula that helps with all food sensitivities. Allergies and food sensitivities usually occur because of a weak immune system, a viral infection, a bacterial infection or both. 90% of the time it is not the food itself that causes the problem. Start with 0.25 ml per day and see how you feel. Then slowly increase by 0.25 mls per day until full dose is reached. There may be small detox symptoms depending on how toxic a person’s system is. This is not an allergic reaction to the formula but a result of toxins being released. If you are detoxing too fast, decrease the dose or stop it for a few days.

As always, please speak with your doctor about introducing a new dietary supplement into their health regiment.

Can I use this while pregnant?

Our Chief Medicine Man and our manufacturer says: “Yes, very much so — extremely beneficial. Even infants can take it according to their size if properly diluted. I used to mix some in with my son’s applesauce. You want to dose according to size — an infant needs less than a full adult. Also the cinnamon and peppermint can be a little intense if used directly, so mix it with something else (milk, water, juice, food). (Example: I would just use 10 drops in a bottle for an infant.) I don’t think there are any written testimonials at the moment, but my three sisters all used it while they were pregnant. The body recognizes Shiaqga as a food — if you want to be super safe, just mix a little in some food (applesauce, mashed potatoes, or some other such food) and slowly build up over time.”

What are the side effects?

The immune system recovers by first detoxifying the body. A normal detoxification period can include cold/flu symptoms, fatigue, dizziness, headaches, and defecation.

The MykoTroph Institute for Nutritional and Mushroom Medicine from Germany describes the benefits of detoxifying  with mushrooms as follows:

Mushrooms dissolve toxins which then need to be excreted by our excretory organs.

Especially if our body is highly contaminated with toxins, we might experience reactions that we initially perceive as adverse. These reactions might be diarrhea, nausea, vertigo, abdominal pressure or skin conditions. However, all these reactions reveal the mushrooms’ prompt effectiveness – and our body’s need for more support due to its contamination.

It is thus most essential not to give up right away if we experience such reactions! Simply give your body more time and reduce the dosage until the reactions disappear.”

Medicinal mushrooms contain – and this is unique – all the enzymes necessary both for phase I and phase II detoxification, and they support our own detoxification systems. This is of enormous importance, because in phase I the toxins are first broken down, only to thereafter be converted into an excretable form in phase 2. It is therefore obvious that only with enzymes of both phases, as they are present in the healing mushroom powder of the whole fungus, an efficient detoxification can take place.”

They continue to explain, “Also B vitamins and amino acids play an important role in the breaking down of toxins and impurities. Medicinal mushrooms contain all essential amino acids and are rich in B vitamins so that[ they play an important therapeutic role also under this aspect.

After this initial detox, the Shiaqga extract along with the benefits of the other ingredients (Sacred Frankincense, Black Cumin Seed Oil, Lemon, Peppermint, and Cinnamon) are then able to bring a powerhouse of support to your cell immune defense.

How will this affect my current medications?

Shiaqga is designed to be treated as a food by the body. We have not ran into any contraindications to the pharmaceuticals but you will always want to start out slow. We recommend for you to go with how you feel and give your body time to build up and slowly eliminate the bacteria, parasites, viruses, and toxins. Taking too much too quickly (and how much is too much will differ on each person) will cause a natural detoxification reaction — normally that manifests as flu like symptoms.

Having a modulated immune system will assist all your other supplements/drugs to actually work better. Also as your stem cells become activated and travel around the body doing their healing work, you will need less and less pharmaceuticals. People are able to completely go off their pharmaceuticals as their body heals. For example, with your high blood pressure you will need less and less medication as your body heals.

What are the other essential oils?

Sacred Frankincense

The Boswellia sacra trees grow naturally in Oman and have been used medicinally for thousands of years.  (Boswellia sacra and Boswellia carteri are actually the same species but commonly it is agreed that the name Boswellia sacra is for those trees found in Oman.)  When the trees are about nine years old, small cuts can be made to tap for resin.  As the resin is exuded, it hardens and the tears are collected two or three times a year.  Each year a tree will produce an average of one kilogram of resin which can be converted into about two 15ml bottles of pure high quality essential oil.

Because of the variation in soil and climate, there are many differences in the quality of the resin and therefore the overall therapeutic quality of the essential oil will differ too.  The frankincense trees that have had to adapt to harsh environments, like growing out of almost solid rock in the mountains of Oman, produce a superior therapeutic resin and essential oil.

Through numerous hours of research and advances in technology, there have been further discoveries on how to extract even greater healing properties from the Frankincense resin.  The Advanced Technology Extraction is a new patient pending distilling process that uses both CO2 and Hydro Distillation to produce the greatest overall therapeutic Frankincense.  To distinguish this oil from the many other Frankincense oils in the market, they call it Sacred Frankincense.  Sadly there are suppliers now trying to capitalize on the higher price by calling their oil Sacred Frankincense.  So when you purchase Sacred Frankincense oil, make sure you are purchasing the Advanced Technology Extraction.

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

Peppermint Essential Oil

The Mentha piperita is a hybrid of watermint and spearmint.  Historically this medicinal herb was indigenous to Europe and was used by the ancient Egyptians, Grecians, and Romans for flavoring, fragrance, digestive aid, insect and rodent repellent, and to whiten teeth.

First Distilled Peppermint is a different smelling and more therapeutic Peppermint than what is mostly supplied in the marketplace.  Sadly in the market a lot of Peppermint oil is also adulterated with Corn Mint, especially the oil coming in from the Asia area.  ‘Corn Mint’ is higher in Menthol and is lower in its overall therapeutic value.

Will this help my pet?

We’ve tried and tested the Shiaqga with our own pets and many animals. What we’ve seen is what some would call miracles. The Shiaqga is amazing for maintaining optimal health in those healthy pets too.

White Sparrow, Medicine Woman writes, “We own two dogs & each morning they get a dose of Shiaqga. Our boy came from an abused and nutrient deficient environment. A few months later, he was top of the line Healthy. I just add a smidgen of Shiaqga in raw meat… along with other superfoods. It’s easy breezy & even great grandma, or Emma the 3 year old. . . can manage it.”

Depending on the health condition of your pet, that will determine the dose. Highly toxic pets deserve a tad bit more. It is considered a food so there are no overdose issues. Taking more will only cause detox symptoms. For your more unhealthy friends, you can increase the amount given but use wisdom and pay attention to their behavior and temperature.

As they shift into healing, they will tend to get tired and deserve rest and repair. As their immune system is built and healing occurs, the detoxification effects will lessen.
